Our Story
Passport to Play Childcare was created from lived experience. Growing up with a single mother raising me and my three sisters who worked two jobs as a nurse. I saw firsthand how difficult it was to find reliable childcare , especially during long or nontraditional hours. I couldn't help her then but I knew one day I would create something that could support families like mine.
That vision became Passport To Play , a childcare center built to support working parents with flexible care, compassion and understanding
Why Passport to Play
Growing up in New York, I was surrounded by friends from all over the world- Nigeria, China, Isreal, Ethiopia and more. Through them , I learned about different cultures, traditions , foods and ways of life. Those conversations sparked my love for learning and travel long before I ever stepped on a plane .
Passport to Play brings that same excitement to children. Even if they can't travel physically m we take them there mentally - through hands on experiences, culture learning , food exploration and play. Every child deserves to see how big and beautiful the world is
Our Family Promise
We are a family-oriented childcare center focused on nurturing the whole child- intelligence, confidence, an self-esteem. Our goal is to help children feel secure, curious and excited to learn , so they step into the world hungry for knowledge and proud of who they are.
